Kurt is an oversized, boxy T-shirt worked in heavy cotton with a slightly elongated back. It features exposed seams and rolled stockinette edges at the sleeves and body, finished with a chunky ribbed neckline.

The T-shirt is worked top-down in stockinette stitch. The back yoke is worked flat and shaped with German short rows. Each shoulder is then worked separately while shaping the neckline before the shoulders are joined to form the front yoke. The front and back are joined at the underarms. The body is then worked in the round. The sleeves are worked top-down from stitches picked up around the armholes. Finally, the collar is worked in rib using 2 strands of yarn held together.
