ALANIS HAT
Pattern Details
This is a digital pattern. It will be sent as a pdf-file to your e-mail.
Alanis Hat combines a sculptural silhouette with effortless everyday wearability. Worked in heavy cotton, the design features a softly ruffled brim and a clean textured pattern that adds structure without complexity. The fitted shape sits just above the ears, creating a modern bucket-hat inspired look.
The hat is worked seamlessly in the round from the brim to the crown. The brim is worked first and then decreased to create a soft ruffled effect. The body is worked in a simple textured stitch pattern before the crown is shaped with a series of decrease rounds. The remaining stitches are gathered and secured to finish the hat.
