JOHNNY T-SHIRT
Pattern Details
This is a digital pattern. It will be sent as a pdf-file to your e-mail.
Johnny is a heavy cotton T-shirt worked in an openwork lace structure.
It features a softly shaped scoop neckline with a contrasting hand-stitched detail, short sleeves in stockinette stitch, and a clean ribbed hem. The combination of structure and transparency creates a garment that can be worn on its own or layered to highlight the texture and pattern.
The T-shirt is worked top-down using two strands of yarn throughout, creating a dense yet breathable fabric with an openwork structure.
The back yoke is worked flat first. Each shoulder is then shaped separately while forming the neckline either according to written description or a chart. The body is then joined and worked in the round. Short sleeves are picked up around the armholes and worked top-down in stockinette stitch, finished with a soft rolled edge. The neckline is completed with a decorative hand-stitched detail in a contrasting yarn.
